VNIS at the All-Ukrainian Field Day “Formula for Profit” 2025 in the village of Yemchikha

On June 27, 2025, the village of Yemchikha (Obukhiv district, Kyiv region) hosted the All-Ukrainian Field Day under the slogan “Formula for Profit.” More than seven hundred farmers, scientists, and representatives of the processing industry came here to see the latest agricultural technologies demonstrated on demo plots with their own eyes and to share their experience of effective farming.

Event format and main highlights

The event was organized by the Ukrainian Bean and Soybean Association and TVK Seed Agrocompany, which invited more than 50 partners from the seed, technology, and service segments. The program included the official opening with the participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Regional State Administration, a tour of three demo locations with legumes, grains, and oilseeds, as well as a large-scale test drive of equipment near the crops.

New hybrids from VNIS: sunflower and corn hybrids in updated catalogs

At this field day, VNIS presented its updated 2025 sunflower and corn catalogs, which include effective new hybrids from Ukrainian breeders.

New sunflower hybrids from VNIS:

Tenet (early maturing, SU);
Kentavr (mid-early maturing, SU);
Almera (mid-maturing, SU);
Interkrus (early maturing, IMI);
Elin (early maturing, IMI).

New corn hybrids from VNIS:

Halardo (FAO 280);
Beylis (FAO 310);
Ronin (FAO 330).

Farmers learned about effective methods of growing hybrids using different technologies and in different soil and climatic conditions. They also exchanged contact details to keep in touch with VNIS specialists.
