VNIS specialists conducted a training session for our official distributor, TD “Barosh”

On February 11 in the Cherkasy region, the VNIS team conducted a specialized training session for the specialists of TD “Barosh,” dedicated to new sunflower and corn breeding products, as well as current approaches to their cultivation under the conditions of the Ukrainian market.

As part of the training for TD “Barosh,” conducted by VNIS’s leading agronomist Yuriy Nahornyi, new sunflower and corn hybrids were presented in detail.

The session covered their genetic potential, adaptation features to different soil-climatic zones, and key benefits for farms. Special attention was given to stable yields, resistance to major diseases and stress factors, as well as the economic efficiency of cultivation.

The practical part of the training focused on technological recommendations: optimal sowing dates, plant density, nutrition, crop protection, and yield formation. In an open-dialogue format, participants had the opportunity to discuss real farm cases and receive answers to pressing questions.

During the meeting, the discussion went beyond the characteristics of the hybrids, focusing also on real field experience. Practical advice, technological nuances, and approaches that truly work in different regions of Ukraine were shared.
