A meeting place for agricultural innovations
Over 170 participants represented their companies and products. The exhibition brought together manufacturers of agricultural machinery and equipment, alternative energy sources, seeds, plant protection products, and much more. The highlight of the Field Day was an interesting demonstration of about 40 units of various equipment that would be useful in any farm. Visitors could watch demonstrations of self-propelled sprayers, even a mine detector, as well as cultivators and deep loosening machines.
VNIS breeding company at the Agro Challenge 2025 Field Day
For VNIS (Ukrainian scientific institute of plant breeding), the Agro Challenge 2025 Field Day is a great opportunity to tell farmers about the latest developments in Ukrainian breeding. VNIS sales representatives shared their experience and answered questions from all interested visitors. At our stand, visitors could learn about sunflower, corn, and winter rapeseed hybrids. New hybrids were also presented.
New VNIS sunflower hybrids:
- Tenet (early maturing, SU);
- Kentavr (mid-early maturing, SU);
- Almera (mid-season, SU);
- Interkrus (early maturing, IMI);
- Elin (early maturing, IMI).
New corn hybrids from VNIS:
Visitors were also interested in VNIS winter rapeseed hybrids: Khalk (CON) and Parker (IMI), which are included in this season's price list. These hybrids have been showing high yields for several years and have received good reviews from farmers.
New opportunities and Ukrainian breeding
Agro Challenge 2025 became an event for VNIS where we strengthened our relationships with our customers and official dealers. In this way, VNIS emphasized the importance of Ukrainian breeding in the seed market. We also gained new customers and introduced them to our range of high-quality Ukrainian breeding. This Field Day allowed us to talk about the advantages and effectiveness of new sunflower, corn, and winter rapeseed hybrids, which have become a reliable support for Ukrainian farmers even in today's difficult conditions.
