VNIS at the field day UCAB Agro Technologies 2025

On August 6–7, 2025, the AgroRepublica landfill (Obukhiv district, Kyiv region) hosted a two-day field day event called “ UCAB Agro Technologies 2025,” organized by the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club and the UCABevent agency. The event brought together over 2,500 participants and more than a hundred exhibiting companies, which demonstrated equipment, digital services, and modern agricultural technologies.

Format of participation by VNIS

VNIS focused on live communication. Guests were greeted by the company's agronomist and managers, who answered questions about hybrid selection, cultivation specifics, and after-sales support. Visitors had the opportunity to:

  • familiarize themselves with catalogs of corn & sunflower, rapeseed, and sweet corn hybrids;
  • receive advice tailored to their own soil and climate conditions;
  • leave their contact information for further cooperation.

What farmers asked about

  1. Stress tolerance. Given this summer's conditions, farmers were interested in corn hybrids with fast moisture release and drought-resistant sunflower lines.
  2. New hybrids in the VNIS portfolio. They discussed the effectiveness of new hybrids in modern agroclimatic conditions.
  3. Exchange of experience. Farmers shared their experience in growing crops and specific hybrids, and asked for advice on improving field efficiency.

Key observations of the team

  • Demand for domestic genetics is steadily growing: farmers are looking for solutions that are adapted to local conditions and available without currency risks.
  • Focus on economic efficiency: reducing costs per hectare while maintaining stable yields is the main criterion for seed selection.
  • Interest in technological partnerships: farmers value companies that provide support from hybrid selection to harvest.
