VNIS at KazAgro/KazFarm 2025

From October 22 to 24, 2025, Astana hosted the 16th International Agricultural Exhibition “KazAgro/KazFarm 2025.” This event is the largest and most influential agricultural event in Central Asia, traditionally held at the EXPO International Exhibition Center. The exhibition brought together hundreds of companies and thousands of visitors, becoming a key platform for demonstrating the latest technologies and the development of the agro-industrial complex.

The Ukrainian scientific institute of plant breeding (VNIS) took an active part in the event, demonstrating the powerful potential of Ukrainian selection science in the Kazakh market.

KazAgro/KazFarm — strategic center for agricultural innovation

The KazAgro/KazFarm exhibition serves as the main platform for sustainable agricultural development in the region. It is held with the official support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Akimat of Astana.

Synergy of two VNIS teams at the exhibition

This year, Ukrainian breeding was represented in a powerful format: the VNIS Kazakhstan team worked at the stand, supported by a special delegation from the VNIS central office (Ukraine). This synergy allowed us to present the company's products as effectively as possible and hold a series of important negotiations.

Key tasks that VNIS successfully implemented during the exhibition:

  • Presentation of hybrids: Kazakhstani farmers were presented with highly efficient sunflower and corn hybrids of Ukrainian selection. These hybrids, adapted to the soil and climatic conditions of the region, attracted considerable interest due to their yield potential and resistance.
  • Working with partners: The exhibition was an excellent opportunity to meet with current distributors and partners, discuss the results of the season, and make plans for the future.
  • Expanding business connections: The VNIS team held talks with new potential customers and partners, discussing market trends and opportunities for cooperation.

The visit of the delegation from Ukraine also had important internal significance.
